Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out Projects (Contract Role) Are you a detail-oriented and ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your career in fit-out projects? We are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic company delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London. This contract role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, contract management, and cost control while working in a fast-paced environment. The Role: As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will support procurement, tendering, and cost management processes to ensure best value and efficiency across multiple construction projects. You will play a key role in contract administration, financial reporting, and vendor management while working closely with an experienced commercial team. Responsibilities: * Assisting with procurement and tendering activities to ensure competitive pricing and best value * Supporting the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents * Helping with contract administration * Identifying and raising cost risks, supporting senior team members in cost control efforts * Updating and maintaining cost catalogs and pricing models * Assisting in vendor management, ensuring a quality supply chain and competitive pricing * Developing skills in financial analysis, estimating, and project cost control About You: * Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field * Min 2 years of experience in a commercial or estimating role, preferably within fit-out projects * Knowledge of contract management, procurement, and financial reporting * Familiarity with Google Workspace, and ERP systems (Workday experience is a plus) * Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is beneficail * Strong time management skills and ability to multitask * Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable industry experience and grow within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
