A growing Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced and proactive Information Manager to work alongside the BIM Coordinator in supporting the delivery of digital construction and information management processes across multiple projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining project information standards, supporting project teams on-site and remotely, and ensuring the effective implementation of the project’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). This role will require regular site presence to support operational teams, maintain information workflows, and ensure compliance with project and client digital standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the BIM Coordinator in the day-to-day management of project information and digital workflows
  • Administer and maintain project EDMS platforms, ensuring accurate filing, revision control, and document distribution
  • Manage and monitor workflows within Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 FieldView and Viewpoint systems
  • Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards, ISO 19650 requirements, and client protocols
  • Coordinate information exchange between design teams, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams
  • Maintain project Common Data Environment (CDE) structure and permissions
  • Support onboarding and training of project teams in the use of FieldView and Viewpoint platforms
  • Carry out regular audits of project information and digital records
  • Assist with reporting on document control metrics, workflows, and compliance
  • Provide on-site support for digital construction processes and issue resolution
  • Work collaboratively with project delivery teams to improve information management efficiency

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an Information Manager, Document Controller, or Digital Construction role within the construction industry
  • Strong working knowledge of: FieldView (essential), Viewpoint (essential), Common Data Environments (CDEs), BIM processes and standards, ISO 19650 principles
  • Experience working alongside BIM teams and project delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of construction project workflows and document management processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
