An established and highly respected main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their growing delivery team on complex high-rise developments across London. This is an opportunity to work on landmark schemes involving reinforced concrete frame construction, slipform cores, and large-scale residential and mixed-use developments exceeding 30 storeys.
The business has a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects to a high standard and offers genuine long-term career progression within a stable and growing team. You will play a key role in the engineering and delivery of major high-rise projects from early construction through to completion, working closely with project and site teams to ensure programme, quality, and technical standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting out for RC frame and high-rise structures
- Managing QA procedures and as-built records
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring technical compliance
- Supporting site management with sequencing and programme delivery
- Working alongside project teams on complex structural packages
- Assisting with temporary works, logistics, and engineering solutions
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained throughout delivery
- Proven experience on RC frame projects in London
- Previous involvement on high-rise developments of 30+ storeys
- Strong understanding of slipform construction and core packages
- Background working with main contractors or specialist RC frame contractors
- Competent using surveying equipment and reading technical drawings
