Salter Grange is recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a major data centre project in Berlin, Germany.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical project delivery on a large-scale, technically complex data centre project.
Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the electrical scope from planning through to completion.
- Manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers and project resources.
- Take responsibility for programme, budget, quality and EHS performance.
- Coordinate electrical works with the client, design team and wider construction teams.
- Monitor progress, manpower, procurement and project milestones.
- Review drawings, specifications, design changes and technical queries.
- Manage electrical QA/QC, inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
- Identify project risks, delays and opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Manage variations, commercial issues and change control with the commercial team.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
- Ensure successful completion, handover and project close-out.
Electrical Project Manager Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical PM or Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Strong experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous data centre or mission-critical experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Experience managing subcontractors, programmes, budgets and project teams.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international construction environment.
