Salter Grange is currently recruiting for an Electrical Construction Manager to join a Leading Engineering Contractor on a large £95M Commercial Development in Central London. Ideally, candidates will have experience working as an Electrical Construction Manager on large fast-track construction projects such as industrial, aviation, healthcare, pharma or commercial experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to bolster your resume by working on one of the company’s flagship projects.

Electrical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

  • Management of all day-to-day site operations
  • Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels. Ensure that there are weekly minuted meetings with subcontractors.
  • Ensure direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to time administrator for tracking centrally.
  • Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
  • Record weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
  • Ensure that there are weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
  • Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers.

Electrical Construction Manager Requirements:

  • A trade background and 5 - 7 years previous experience managing large installation projects and sub-contractors.
  • Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects.
  • Experienced in design and build.
