EHS Advisor - Data Centre - Finland

Salter Grange is currently recruiting a EHS Advisor to join a prominent Data Centre builder on a high-profile project in Finland which will be a great addition to a career-conscious EHS Advisor. My client is open to the candidate\’s background if they can demonstrate cradle-to-grave experience on high-value construction projects in different sectors with reputable Main Contractors. They have a proven track record developing people, but ideally, the successful EHS Advisor will be in the sector and looking for that step up or step forward if you have hit a glass ceiling. You will be working under a highly regarded EHS Lead with great clients, a strong pipeline of work in a robust sector and a turnover reaching £2 billion; it is a great time to join the business. EHS Advisor Responsibilities: Adherence to the project & company Safety Management system Adherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation Adherence to the company Environmental, Health & Safety Plans. Coordination in the development of task specific Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to work. Ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances. Ensuring that safety interventions are completed & registered. Carry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions. Welfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained. Up to date documentation is included with the Safety File. Waste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures. EHS Advisor Requirements: HETAC Level 8 (HDip or Degree) qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. Flexibility in working patterns where necessary. Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site. Strong communication & computer skills.
