Salter Grange is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction specialist for an experienced Senior EHS Advisor to join a high-profile, large-scale data centre project in Europe. This is a key position within the project team, offering the opportunity to play a critical role in delivering a complex, fast-paced, mission-critical project while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

EHS Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS standards across the project
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company policies
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Drive a strong safety culture through engagement, training, and leadership on site
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and management to promote best practices
  • Prepare and deliver EHS reports to senior stakeholders

EHS Advisor Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Senior EHS Advisor (or similar) role on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of European EHS legislation and standards
  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety / Environmental Management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven approach
  • EU Passport is essential for this role
