Design Manager – St Albans – Β£30m+ Projects We are seeking a proven Design Manager to take ownership of a major build project in St Albans. This scheme is within the life sciences sector, so previous experience in this area would be highly beneficial. However, candidates with strong backgrounds in commercial, industrial, or data centre projects will also be considered. You will be responsible for managing the full design process, coordinating consultants and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety. About the role: Oversee design stages from inception through to completion β lead design meetings, carry out technical reviews. Maintain compliance with life sciences regulations (BREEAM, manage contract specifications, drawings, O&M and H&S file collation). Interface effectively with stakeholders β clients, contractors, and colleagues β resolve issues and deliver to schedule Requirements: Experience working as a Design Manager (or similar role). Successful track record on projects valued at Β£25m+. Life sciences experience preferred, or strong exposure to commercial, industrial, or data centre builds.
