A leading London developer is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a landmark £80m high‑rise residential scheme in Bermondsey. The project runs through to late 2028 with piling commencing in June.
Responsibilities:
- Be the commercial lead on site, driving procurement, managing key packages, and ensuring robust cost control from pre‑construction through delivery.
- Lead the procurement strategy and tendering of all major work packages.
- Manage commercial reporting, forecasting, and cost planning throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with the project director, design team, and site management to ensure financial governance and value engineering opportunities.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Maintain a strong presence on site (5 days per week) to ensure commercial alignment with programme and delivery.
