M&E Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Preparing and evaluating supplier and sub-contractor enquiries.
- Preparation and issuing of contract documents to the supply chain.
- Financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts.
- Providing detailed data and analysis of project issues and commercial risks.
- Authorising the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Managing sub-contractor accounts, including variations and final account negotiations.
- Submitting monthly valuations and agreeing on payment certificates with the Main Contractor/Client.
- Identifying, submitting, and agreeing variations with the Client.
- Internal reporting on project performance, including CVRs and cost forecasting.
M&E Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5+ years of commercial experience specifically within the MEP/Building Services sector.
- Proficient in reviewing technical drawings for variations, valuations, and take-offs.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
