M&E Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and evaluating supplier and sub-contractor enquiries.
  • Preparation and issuing of contract documents to the supply chain.
  • Financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts.
  • Providing detailed data and analysis of project issues and commercial risks.
  • Authorising the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Managing sub-contractor accounts, including variations and final account negotiations.
  • Submitting monthly valuations and agreeing on payment certificates with the Main Contractor/Client.
  • Identifying, submitting, and agreeing variations with the Client.
  • Internal reporting on project performance, including CVRs and cost forecasting.

M&E Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of commercial experience specifically within the MEP/Building Services sector.
  • Proficient in reviewing technical drawings for variations, valuations, and take-offs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
