Job Description
Workato Specialist – iPaaS/Automation
Hybrid – 2- 4 days onsite monthly
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000
I'm working with a client who is looking for a Workato Specialist to join their growing technology team and take ownership of automation and integration across the business.
This is not a "recipe builder" role – the successful candidate will be the subject matter expert for Workato, responsible for designing, building, and running integrations between core business systems. You'll work closely with finance, operations, and other teams to reduce manual effort, improve system interoperability, and deliver scalable automation.
What the role involves

Own the Workato platform day-to-day, designing and delivering integration solutions

Build and maintain Workato recipes, including custom code where needed

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain them clearly to non-technical teams

Automate manual workflows, particularly around finance and ERP processes

Develop scripts (Python/SQL) to extend automation capability

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise performance of integrations
