I'm looking to partner with experienced freelance Web Analytics Specialists to work together on new freelance and contract opportunities.
As a Web Analytics Specialist, you’ll analyse and interpret web data to help optimise digital presence and improve the performance of websites and online campaigns.
You will:
- Monitor and analyse website traffic, user behaviour, and performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
- Implement and manage tags and tracking scripts using platforms like Google Tag Manager, and ensure proper setup and accuracy of data collection
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to enhance website performance and user experience, and analyse the test results to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimise user experience and campaign performance
You will need:
- Strong skills in web analytics platforms including GA4, GTM, Adobe Analytics etc
- Knowledge of A/B testing tools and techniques, for example, Google Optimise, Optimizely etc
- Experience with data visualisation tools, and knowledge of heat mapping and user behaviour tools such as Hotjar and Crazy Egg
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences
- Ideally familiarity with SQL, R, or Python for data analysis
