Overview:
We\’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Social Media Account Director to lead and deliver high-impact campaigns for a leading agency client. This short-term contract is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can quickly build trust with stakeholders, and is confident managing teams and clients across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of social media strategies across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube).
- Act as the senior point of contact for client relationships, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery against objectives.
- Oversee content planning, creative briefing, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, paid media, analytics) to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency across outputs.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data and audience insights.
- Ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Account Director in an agency or brand-side role.
- Strong understanding of paid and organic social media, influencer marketing, and content production.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead projects from start to finish.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with regular London-based meetings.
- Available to start immediately
Desirable:
- Experience working with consumer brands.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite).
- Previous contract experience with fast onboarding and delivery.
