Salt are proud to collaborate once again with one of our biggest agency clients as they seek to hire a data-driven Social Listening Analyst to join their team and play a critical role in analysing the performance of their social media activity. In this ASAP starting contract role, you will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and deriving insights from social data to optimise content, campaigns, and overall strategy. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, analytics, and storytelling through data. This role will work across two client accounts. Strong communication skills are essential for this position as this role will be client facing. This is a part-time role, 2-3 days per week. Ideally hybrid to London HQ.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain social media reporting dashboards.
- Analyse engagement, reach, sentiment, and campaign impact across platforms.
- Translate social data into actionable insights to inform content and strategy.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate with content and media teams to evaluate performance and test new formats.
- Support brand lift studies, influencer performance tracking, and paid/organic reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in social media analytics, insights, or a related role.
- Experience in building social measurement framework.
- Proficiency with tools like Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, or native platform analytics.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Datarama, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of social KPIs and how they ladder up to business goals.
- Attention to detail and ability to turn numbers into compelling stories.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
