Salt are partnered with a global customer engagement and loyalty organisation and they are looking for a Salesforce Email Communications Specialist to join on a freelance contract basis.

Location: Remote / Hybrid (UK-based preferred)

Contract Length: 6 Months

Time Commitment: Approximately around 1-2 days per month

About the Role

This opportunity sits within a large-scale partner engagement programme designed to strengthen relationships across a global network of strategic travel and commercial partners. Working closely with client services, strategy and content teams, you will take ownership of the technical execution of email communications through Salesforce, ensuring campaigns are built, tested, deployed and monitored accurately. The programme focuses on delivering high-quality thought leadership and partner communications to carefully segmented audiences across a structured engagement journey. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Salesforce specialist who enjoys managing campaign operations, audience segmentation and deployment schedules in a collaborative agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure email campaigns within Salesforce
  • Manage audience lists, segmentation and distribution groups
  • Import and maintain campaign data to support targeted communications
  • Schedule and deploy email campaigns in line with agreed timelines
  • Conduct thorough QA checks and pre-send testing
  • Coordinate campaign delivery with account management and content teams
  • Monitor deployment activity and troubleshoot any issues where required
  • Support campaign reporting and performance tracking
  • Manage multiple communications activities simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy
  • Ensure all communications are delivered on time and in line with campaign objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering email campaigns through Salesforce, ideally using Marketing Cloud
  • Strong background in B2B email marketing programmes
  • Experience with audience segmentation, data management and list administration
  • Knowledge of email testing, quality assurance and campaign deployment best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
