The financial industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation driven by Digital Assets, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), and next-generation data platforms. My client is at the forefront of this evolution, building the foundations of a Digital Asset Platform that will power future market infrastructures. The Innovation Tribe is responsible for delivering these transformative capabilities, shaping how digital assets are issued, managed, and exchanged across ecosystems.

We are looking for a Digital Asset Platform Architect who will define, evolve, and safeguard the vision of the Digital Asset Platform. You will act as the technical authority and guardian of the platform, ensuring that all teams contribute to a coherent, scalable, secure, and future-proof architecture. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of architecture strategy, platform governance, and innovation, where you will shape the long-term foundation of the client's digital asset capabilities while enabling teams to deliver efficiently and consistently.

In this role, you will drive the evolution of the Digital Asset Platform, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and day-to-day delivery. You will work closely with engineering teams, solution architects, product leaders, and external partners, guiding architectural decisions, validating implementations, and continuously improving the platform's capabilities. Your mission is to ensure that the platform remains consistent, reusable, secure, and scalable, while enabling innovation and accelerating delivery across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define & Own Platform Vision: Define and maintain the target architecture and long-term vision for the Digital Asset Platform, ensuring alignment with business strategy and innovation goals.
  • Drive Platform Evolution: Continuously evolve platform capabilities (DLT, APIs, data, integration, security) to meet emerging business needs and technological opportunities.
  • Architecture Governance & Assurance: Ensure that all teams follow the platform architecture principles, standards, and patterns, validating designs and implementations against the defined vision.
  • Act as Platform Design Authority: Review solution designs, challenge inconsistencies, and ensure coherence across initiatives, acting as a trusted technical authority.
  • Enable Teams & Provide Guidance: Support engineering teams and solution architects by providing clear guidance, reusable patterns, and architectural best practices, enabling efficient and aligned delivery.
  • Standardization & Reuse: Define reference architectures, reusable components, and 'golden paths' to reduce fragmentation and accelerate delivery across teams.
  • Platform Integration & Ecosystem Alignment: Ensure alignment across platform components (DLT, APIs, cloud, data, security) and integration with internal and external ecosystems.
  • Security, Compliance & Resilience by Design: Ensure the platform adheres to security, compliance, and operational resilience requirements, embedding these principles into architecture decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: Partner with product, engineering, GTS, CISO, and external providers to ensure alignment and adoption of platform standards.
  • Innovation & Technology Watch: Stay ahead of industry and technology trends (DLT, tokenization, digital assets), evaluating their impact and integrating relevant innovations into the platform.
Must Have:
  • Deep experience in platform architecture, preferably in cloud-native and distributed systems environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DLT / digital asset platforms / blockchain ecosystems.
  • Proven experience defining and governing architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, event-driven systems, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong expertise in security-by-design, identity models, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic delivery constraints.
  • Proven ability to guide multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across business and technical stakeholders.
