Job Title: Senior eCommerce Specialist/Manager (Germany)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (UK/EU-based preferred)

Rate: £300/day

Contract Type: Freelance/Contract

Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior eCommerce Specialist/Manager to lead and support the German market expansion for a growing e-commerce brand. This role will be pivotal in coordinating internal stakeholders, shaping the localised digital strategy, and driving performance across key channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the rollout and optimisation of the e-commerce platform (Shopify) for the German market
• Manage cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) and external partners
• Plan and execute paid media campaigns with a focus on Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)
• Drive localisation strategy, ensuring UX, content, and messaging are tailored for the German audience
• Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour, and website data to identify opportunities for growth
• Stay current on e-commerce trends and customer expectations in Germany and wider EU markets

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Fluent/Native German speaker (essential)
• Strong eCommerce experience with Shopify
• Proven track record with Meta Ads and digital performance marketing
• In-depth knowledge of the German market; understanding of wider EU markets a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution ability
