About the role

We’re partnering with a growing B2B technology business specialising in corporate intelligence, verification and risk management solutions for international organisations.

They’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive new business through targeted, phone-first outbound prospecting, engaging decision-makers across Risk, Compliance and Operations to generate qualified opportunities for the Sales team.

Key responsibilities

  • Make 100-150 targeted outbound calls per day, confidently handling objections, gatekeepers and follow-ups.
  • Engage prospects to understand their needs, identify potential opportunities and assess suitability against agreed qualification criteria.
  • Book a minimum of four qualified appointments per week for the Sales team, ensuring meetings are relevant and well-qualified.
  • Research target businesses, decision-makers and relevant industry developments to personalise outreach.
  • Support outbound campaigns targeting specific industries, accounts and relevant market or regulatory developments.
  • Maintain accurate prospect records, log calls and outcomes on the same day, and manage follow-up activities using HubSpot or a similar CRM.
  • Provide clear notes and context to the Sales team to support effective follow-up and progression of qualified opportunities.
  • Take ownership of daily activity, pipeline contribution and appointment targets, consistently working towards agreed KPIs.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.
  • Strong relationship-building, listening and questioning skills.
  • A resilient, persistent and positive approach to outbound prospecting.
  • A competitive mindset with a genuine motivation to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload independently in a remote environment.
  • Good attention to detail and a disciplined approach to CRM administration.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, business development or an SDR role is advantageous.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, FinTech, RegTech, compliance or risk-related technology would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or another CRM platform is an advantage
