My client requires a Senior Compliance Specialist for an initial 12 month contract to support their compliance program with a specific focus on requirements under FCA and PSRs.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Develop compliance strategy and prioritise areas according to legal requirements.
- Provide compliance advice for new financial services products.
- Manage compliance aspects for FCA, including governance and policy updates.
- Ensure compliant growth of international business areas within EMEA.
- Assist with EU regulatory initiatives like PSD2, GDPR, and SEPA.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles in fintech, payments, or banking.
- Knowledge of UK financial regulations, including FCA Handbook and PSD2.
- Experience with FCA compliance expectations and audits.
- Proficiency in compliance frameworks and risk management.
This is not an AML / Financial Crime role.
