Salt is looking for a Principal Recruitment Consultant to join our Marketing team, focusing on front-end marketing data and analytics roles. This is a hands-on, 360 recruitment position where you’ll manage your own desk, build lasting client relationships, and shape the data-led marketing talent market.

Your Mission (What you’ll do)

  • Own your desk: Build and grow a niche desk across marketing data, insights, and analytics roles.
  • Partner with leading brands: Work with SaaS, B2B, and tech-driven marketing teams.
  • Recruit key roles: Including Marketing Analysts, CRO Managers, Insight Specialists, and Digital Analytics professionals.
  • Drive business development: Proactively identify new client opportunities and nurture long-term partnerships.
  • Consult strategically: Advise clients on market trends, salary benchmarking, and talent strategies within marketing data.
  • Collaborate across the team: Work closely with marketing recruitment specialists across the UK, ensuring Salt maintains its market-leading fill rate and quality of service.

Who We’re Looking For (The 360 Profile)

  • Agency Experience is Essential: 4–6+ years as a 360 Recruitment Consultant within marketing analytics recruitment.
  • Specialist experience: You have specialised in recruiting marketing professionals who work with front-end data - i.e., data roles that sit under a CMO rather than tech.
  • Market Knowledge: You understand the front-end of marketing data - insights, analytics, campaign optimisation, and audience segmentation.
  • Client-Savvy: You’ve built lasting partnerships with marketing leaders, CMOs, and digital analytics teams.
  • Driven & Strategic: You enjoy building new business while managing long-term accounts.
