Requirements
- Previous experience working within an IT Service Desk, IT support or similar customer-focused technical support environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11.
- Experience handling and troubleshooting IT incidents and service requests.
- Strong customer service and telephone support skills.
- Good technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ITIL Service Management knowledge or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Applicants must be UK residents.
- No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
- This role is hybrid, with no fully remote option.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, application and network incidents.
- Log, classify, prioritise and manage incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot issues remotely and provide first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Install and configure desktop software.
- Administer user accounts and system access in line with security policies.
- Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate specialist support teams.
- Provide clear technical advice and guidance to users with varying levels of IT knowledge.
- Maintain accurate service desk records and documentation.

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to join the Digital Services function of a large NHS community healthcare organisation in Norwich.
This is a hybrid role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 18:00, on an initial 3 to 6 month contract.
The day rate is £110 per day and the role is inside IR35.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and to support clinical and corporate users as the first point of contact for IT incidents, service requests and technical queries.
