We are recruiting for an experienced Endpoint Support Engineer to join the Digital Services function of a large NHS community healthcare organisation. The role will provide second-line technical support to clinical and corporate users, resolving incidents remotely and in person while supporting the deployment, maintenance and improvement of endpoint hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide second-line technical support across desktop hardware, software and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents relating to desktops, laptops, applications and associated equipment.
- Build, install, configure, upgrade and maintain IT equipment and software.
- Manage incidents and service requests within the IT service management system.
- Support Active Directory, Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Citrix and endpoint security tooling.
- Carry out site visits across Norfolk and Suffolk for hardware rollouts, moves, changes and technical support.
- Maintain accurate endpoint asset and support documentation.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience providing second-line desktop or endpoint support.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
- Experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware, software and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Citrix, endpoint security and asset management solutions.
- Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- ITIL Foundation knowledge or equivalent service management experience.
- Full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
