Salt have partnered with one of Britain's most loved and enduring retail brands, a household name with over 140 years of heritage, trusted by millions of customers every single week. They're in the middle of one of the most ambitious technology transformations in their history.

They're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the strategic direction of their Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), the beating heart of their distribution and fulfilment operation. This isn't a "maintain the lights" role. This is end-to-end supply chain transformation, at scale, with real commercial consequence. You'll define the product vision and roadmap, work shoulder-to-shoulder with Supply Chain & Logistics leadership, and make decisions that directly affect how product moves from warehouse to customer. Automation, optimisation, data-driven decision making, it's all on the table.

What you'll actually be doing:

  • Owning the WMS roadmap and communicating a clear, compelling vision to senior stakeholders
  • Balancing transformation ambition with operational stability (this is always-on, critical infrastructure)
  • Leading discovery into future warehouse capabilities including automation and robotics
  • Mentoring other PMs and helping raise the bar for product practice across the community
  • Tracking success through meaningful KPIs and OKRs, not just shipping features

What they're looking for:

  • Significant experience in Product Management on enterprise-scale platforms
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems in high-volume environments
  • Someone who genuinely understands warehouse and distribution operations, not just the tech
  • A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building strategic roadmaps
  • Comfort working in DevOps / always-on operational environments
  • Bonus points for experience in large UK retail, multi-channel supply chains, or warehouse automation

The detail:

Based within their Fashion, Home & Beauty Supply Chain & Logistics function. 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Head of Product – Supply Chain & Logistics.

Why it's worth a look:

This is a role with genuine scope. You're not a cog, you're setting direction for business-critical technology used across an entire distribution network. And you'll be doing it at a company that's been getting transformation right for well over a century. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, drop me a message or hit apply.
