We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our client’s team in Budapest on a one-year contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on incremental delivery of RICEFW-related project components in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, hands-on development, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver RICEFW-related project components in line with product and sprint backlogs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders during program increment events to define backlog items.
- Define and execute test strategies, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare change management and documentation deliverables.
- Provide go-live support and knowledge transition.
- Create and review technical specifications, and develop code to implement functionality.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support SIT/UAT defect resolution.
- Conduct high-level and detailed effort estimations.
- Ensure quality of deliverables, including RICEFW object design and implementation (ATC & CI).
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to align on architecture and interfaces.
- Produce and maintain product documentation in line with company standards.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements to technical solutions and ways of working.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong development skills in SAP ABAP (OOABAP, ODATA, RICEFW objects).
- Experience with Enhancement Framework.
- Proficiency in ATC, code review, and quality checks.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with CDS, AMDP, and RESTful architecture.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive initiative.
- Team player who thrives in dynamic environments.
