We are partnered with a high-growth SME brand looking to hire an E-Commerce Coordinator for their team based in Wakefield. This role is an important position for the business as it will be managing the day to day operations of the E-Commerce site for the brand. This is a position that is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience but open to those who have completed an internship within the digital and/or E-Commerce landscape. The most important soft skill is that you are eager to learn and develop. 4 days in office with one day a week WFH.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of the trading plan for the E-Commerce site.
- Write on-site and campaign copy and brief required assets to the designer.
- Build newsletters in Klaviyo.
- Collate paid advertising content for a third-party agency.
- Schedule and launch onsite page updates and newsletters.
- Set up, thoroughly test, and monitor all promotions to ensure strong performance and a positive customer impact.
- Manage the product launch cycle on site, ensuring launches are timely and aligned to plan.
- Work collaboratively with design and marketing teams to ensure onsite creative execution supports accessibility, strong UX, and brand alignment.
- Ensure PLPs are always optimised to maximise conversion, balancing data-led merchandising with brand considerations.
- Create landing pages, category pages, and other content in line with the trading plan.
- Proactively identify user-journey pain points, recommending and prioritising improvements by commercial impact.
- Run weekly trading reports each Monday and compile them into a weekly trading deck.
Role Requirements
- Educated to degree level.
- Experience within retail, apparel, DTC is preferred.
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify data-led sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify).
- Design literacy and understanding of design tools.
- Strong relationship-building skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Suite, and Meta (desirable).
- Ability to identify potential issues early, communicate efficiently, and solve problems proactively.
- Experience in and passion for DTC ecommerce.
