My client (Global Fintech Company) is looking for a head of creative to join on an interim 3 month contract. This is an exciting time to join as the business has just gone through a re-brand. This role is ideally starting on the 2nd February, with interviews going ahead next week. Hybrid working: 3 days on-site Central London 2 days remote. Day rate: Between £600-£650 depending on experience. This role is inside IR35 so please only apply if you can go through an Umbrella company.
Summary: You will be responsible for leading growth and overseeing the creative studio team alongside the studio manager. This role is predominantly leadership/direction and less hands-on creative as you continue to support in scaling the business. This role is fast-paced and the client is ideally looking for candidates with in-house experience. You’ll be reporting straight into the Marketing & Growth Director.
Key Responsibilities & Capabilities:
- Lead and inspire a group of creatives including copywriters, designers, motion designers and web editors.
- Build and inspire best in class creative across key growth channels as well as mid funnel activation (social, content, brand & product marketing).
- Work with the Acquisition team to interpret and implement creative learnings on a continual cycle to drive growth through creative optimisation.
- Run the studio as an internal agency that responds to creative briefs from the UK&I marketing teams and partner functions.
- Have a sharp eye for talent – this role will continue to nurture & grow a positive studio culture.
- Understand & implement strategy to ensure all ideas are aligned.
- Work with Marketing Operations Manager to project plan and forecast resource, and build efficient creative processes.
- Articulate complex ideas in a concise and effective way – both to consumers and to internal stakeholders.
- Continually raise the bar for creative excellence and creative innovation.
- Support the development of external creative agency relationships.
Qualifications & Expertise:
- 10+ years' experience as a creative director or related position with a brand.
- Track record of creative directly contributing to brand and commercial growth.
- Experience building and overseeing marketing campaigns.
- Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly.
- Must be dependable, positive, open-minded able to clearly communicate verbally and visually.
- Must be an expert in Figma, nice to have motion experience.
- Ability to inspire but also lead hands-on work.
- Comfortable working in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment.
