I’m working with a client in Basingstoke who is looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their team. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, working directly with users, and keeping systems and equipment running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Providing user support via the service desk, both remotely and in person
  • Issuing, repairing, and tracking IT equipment for starters and leavers
  • Maintaining and updating Active Directory and M365
  • Monitoring backups and escalating issues when needed
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems (laptops, PCs, printers, scanners, switches, browsers)
  • Liaising with third-party suppliers for equipment repairs and support

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support with strong troubleshooting skills
