I’m working with a client in Basingstoke who is looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their team. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, working directly with users, and keeping systems and equipment running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Providing user support via the service desk, both remotely and in person
- Issuing, repairing, and tracking IT equipment for starters and leavers
- Maintaining and updating Active Directory and M365
- Monitoring backups and escalating issues when needed
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems (laptops, PCs, printers, scanners, switches, browsers)
- Liaising with third-party suppliers for equipment repairs and support
Requirements
- Experience in IT support with strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, software deployment, and PC hardware
