We’re partnering with a rapidly growing AI & Cloud consultancy that is building something genuinely different in the market. This isn’t just another consultancy role. You’ll work across:

  • Cutting-edge internal AI products being taken to market

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants to operate at a high technical bar, shape architecture decisions, and build modern AI-enabled platforms properly. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and building secure, scalable cloud-native applications
  • Contributing to internal AI-powered products from concept to market launch
  • Working closely with a deeply technical industry leader to shape architecture and engineering standards
  • Building modern full-stack platforms across backend, frontend, cloud, DevOps and AI tooling
  • Embedding AI-assisted workflows into real-world engineering environments
  • Contributing to multi-tenant, secure SaaS architectures

Technical Environment:

Backend Engineering

  • C# (.NET / .NET Core) ASP.NET Core APIs
  • Entity Framework Core & Dapper (and knowing when to use each)
  • SOLID principles & clean architecture
  • Asynchronous programming, concurrency & performance tuning
  • TDD, unit testing & integration testing
  • Code quality gates & peer review discipline
  • Secure coding practices

Frontend Engineering

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js
  • Modern frontend patterns (hooks, state management, server/client data fetching)
  • Robust API integration & error handling

Identity & Security Architecture

  • Authentication & authorisation design
  • SSO flows
  • OAuth2 & OpenID Connect
  • JWT best practices (signing, expiry, refresh, validation)
  • Multi-tenant architecture (data isolation, tenant-aware auth, scaling)

Cloud & Infrastructure (Azure)

  • Azure PaaS (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault)
  • Docker & containerisation
  • AKS / container orchestration fundamentals
  • Azure Entra ID & managed identities
  • Secure networking (VNets, private endpoints, ingress/egress patterns)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or similar)

DevOps & Delivery

  • Advanced CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Build, test & release automation
  • Secure pipeline design & secrets management
  • Environment promotion strategies

AI-Enabled Engineering

  • AI-assisted development workflows (Copilot, Claude Code or similar)
  • Advanced prompting for engineering tasks
  • Agent-based or orchestration familiarity (Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or similar)
  • AI coding guardrails & validation gates
  • Using AI as a force multiplier without compromising maintainability or security
