We are working with a growing integrated agency in Brighton that is looking to hire an SEO Strategist to join their digital team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about organic search, performance marketing, and delivering measurable growth across a varied client portfolio. The role will suit someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with experience developing SEO campaigns across technical, on-page, and content-led initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies across a range of client accounts
- Carry out technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search opportunity mapping
- Work closely with content, PR, and paid media teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Optimise website architecture, metadata, internal linking, and on-page content
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and performance using tools such as GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog
- Deliver regular reporting and insights to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay up to date with algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging SEO best practices
- Support with website migrations and technical implementations where required
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in an SEO-focused role, ideally within an agency environment
- Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Experience using SEO and analytics platforms including GA4 and Search Console
- Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Experience collaborating with developers and content teams
