Salt are partnered with a leading cultural organisation and are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager (Events) to join on a contract basis.

Location: London

Contract: 2 Months

Day Rate: Inside IR35 - £180-200 per day

Working pattern: Full-time, Hybrid (35 hours per week)

About the Role

This is a standalone events marketing role reporting into the Head of Marketing Campaigns & Content. The postholder will lead end-to-end marketing activity for a busy cultural events programme, picking up an in-flight schedule and working with minimal onboarding. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with in-house specialists across design, web, PR and social media. The role involves extensive internal and external stakeholder management and requires confidence influencing and negotiating at senior level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing delivery for a programme of live cultural and performance events
  • Own campaigns end-to-end, from planning through to execution and evaluation
  • Manage ticketing set-up and sales activity using a dedicated ticketing platform
  • Work closely with internal teams across design, web, PR and social media to deliver campaigns
  • Manage relationships with external partners, venues and agencies
  • Use audience and sales data to optimise campaigns and report on performance
  • Ensure all event content across websites, email and ticketing platforms is accurate and up to date

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering marketing for cultural or live events
  • Direct experience working with classical music programmes and the performing arts sector
  • Confident self-starter, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced events environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills, including senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing and CMS platforms (e.g. DotDigital and Drupal or similar)
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as Spektrix or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge across digital, print, PR and social media marketing
