I have partnered with one of the most interesting (and complex) organisations I’ve ever worked with – they are looking for a Senior Content Designer / UX writer to join a high-profile internal project on a fixed-term contract basis. You will be joining a UCD team comprised of Service Designers, User Researchers, and Product Designers to re-shape and digitise an existing system / set of processes into a deeply user-centered piece of software used both internally within the organisation, and also externally by external firms.
Your role within the team will be on delivering clear, user-centered UX Content to internal users and external businesses - you will work closely with User Researchers to shape the overall strategy, and make evidence-based recommendations on the content used within the product. Overall content plays a vital role in simplifying and improving the user journey, and you will own this throughout the project.
The project will require real depth and expertise within Content Design & UX writing, not limited to:
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building and facilitation experience.
- Experience shaping Content and User-Centered writing for complex, highly functional systems and services (i.e. GDS or internal / enterprise tooling).
- A broad 'toolkit', and a pragmatic, flexible approach for how effective Content Design & UX writing can be delivered.
- Experience across large, diverse organisations.
Lastly, it’s really important that you have worked and are comfortable working in large organisations - this will not be the right role for someone who has not worked in an enterprise/corporate environment previously.
The important details:
- This is a fixed-term 12-month role starting in March-April 2026.
- The salary is up to £75,000 + flexible cash benefits + bonus.
- 2-stage interview process.
- Hybrid working (London).
- You will either need to be SC cleared, or be prepared to go through the clearance process.
