Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic cloud transformation and migration initiatives for a growing enterprise organisation. This is a fully remote contract opportunity, offering the chance to manage complex cloud projects across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms while working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering cloud programmes on time and within budget, with experience across public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud migration, cloud transformation, and infrastructure modernisation projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
- Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and cloud technology partners.
- Drive project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications at all levels.
- Facilitate project planning workshops, sprint reviews, steering committees, and status meetings.
- Ensure successful execution of cloud adoption strategies and migration roadmaps.
- Work closely with cloud architects, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery.
- Produce and maintain project documentation including RAID logs, project plans, status reports, and governance packs.
- Support change management and user adoption activities where required.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering cloud-based programmes and projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and migration methodologies.
- Experience delivering projects involving Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple workstreams and technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership engagement.
- Experience managing project budgets, risks, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

- Cloud migration or data centre exit programmes.
- Infrastructure transformation projects.
- SaaS implementation projects.
- DevOps and CI/CD environments.
- Security, governance, and compliance initiatives within cloud environments.
