We're hiring a Senior Freelance Digital Product Designer to support a creative/digital agency on a short-term project focused on engaging, reward-driven digital experiences. This role is ideal for a designer with strong experience in mobile apps, gamification, loyalty apps, and repeat-visit product journeys. You'll be designing products that users want to tap, scroll, and return to, with a clear emphasis on emotion, interaction, and craft.

Role details

  • Start: Thursday 28th May
  • Contract length: 4 weeks (until Friday 26th June)
  • Rate: £415 per day (all-in)
  • IR35: Outside IR35 (must use Ltd or Umbrella, no Sole Traders)
  • Location: Central London
  • Hybrid working: 3 days onsite per week (non-negotiable)
  • Work pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week

The role

You'll take ownership of end-to-end digital product design, working across UX, UI, interaction, and brand to create reward-led experiences that drive engagement and repeat use. This is a hands-on senior role, working closely with product and creative teams.

  • Create reward-driven, surprise-and-delight interactions
  • Design repeat-visit journeys rather than one-off experiences

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Digital Product Designer
  • Must have a strong portfolio across mobile apps, gamification, or reward-based products
  • Experience designing for repeat engagement and retention
  • High standard of visual and interaction design craft
  • Comfortable working in agency environments
