Senior Principal Consultant – E-Commerce & Marketplace

We are partnered with a leading Amazon Agency who are growing their team of Account Managers. This role will partner with consumer brands on their Amazon strategy and be the main project manager for each account.

This is completely remote so a great opportunity to be based anywhere and still work with amazing people and brands. The agency cover 1P and 3P but experience across Seller Central and Vendor Central is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored strategies for each assigned client account.
  • Implement strategic guidance provided by senior strategy leaders when required.
  • Monitor industry movements and competitor behaviour to support informed decision-making.
  • Create and carry out optimisation initiatives to enhance account performance.
  • Oversee product availability, pricing approaches, and core performance indicators.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support the rollout of strategic activities.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and improved commercial outcomes.
  • Maintain clear documentation of strategic actions and results.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients across all service models.
  • Act as the main point of contact for designated accounts.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships through regular communication.
  • Manage day-to-day enquiries and ongoing client needs.
  • Ensure consistently high client satisfaction and strong retention rates.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client questions or concerns.
  • Document all client interactions and operational requirements accurately.
  • Conduct recurring performance reviews and check-in meetings with clients.

Job Requirements

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in account management, brand management, or client-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to oversee multiple accounts and shifting priorities effectively.

  • Experience with online marketplace platforms and back-end content systems (preferred).
