Role Description

The Head of Department & Work Based Learning is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Herne Bay.

  • Relevant teaching or training qualification (e. g., PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or equivalent) and experience in the construction or vocational education sector.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employers and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage departmental budgets, meet performance targets, and ensure compliance with quality assurance and regulatory frameworks.
