Key Responsibilities The Engineering Workshop Team Lead and manage the Assembly Workshop, ensuring the delivery of high-quality fabrication services for both new and existing plant and equipment. This role requires supervising and supporting the Assembly Teams, Operation Support Specialists, and relevant trainees, ensuring efficient production processes and maintained and adhered to. The supervisor will collaborate closely with the Production Manager to plan and organize manufacturing operations, forecast work, and schedule production activities, while aligning team efforts with the company\’s production needs.Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing people activity such as holiday bookings, and ensuring that the team adheres to the production schedule. The supervisor will be responsible for people management and development, actively fostering a company culture that aligns with the organization s core values.In addition to supervisory duties, the role will involve practical tasks such as completing mechanical installations within the Assembly Workshop, including pipe fitting, mapress, compression, bracketing, vessels, pumps, and motors. The role will also contribute to the building and operations of RO (Reverse Osmosis) plant manufacturing. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Reading Engineering drawings Familiar with computer systems to record time and operations (such as, Epicor) Compliance with H&S and ensuring a safe working environment. Pressure testing, and knowledge of testing to specifications. Management training, or adequate experience of managing people (ILM/CMI L3) Good problem solving Excellent communication within the workshop environment. Time management Self-motivated able to work well within a team.
