We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex healthcare transformation projects. This role has full end to end responsibility, covering planning, governance, delivery, risk, change and benefits realisation.
You will work closely with executive sponsors, senior stakeholders and third party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. Projects typically span technology delivery, business process change and service transformation within a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities:- Lead projects from initiation through to implementation and transition into BAU
- Develop and maintain robust delivery and change plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks and budgets
- Own project governance, reporting and escalation through steering groups and boards
- Manage cross functional project teams and external suppliers
- Track financial performance, forecast spend and manage variance
- Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies
- Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, including Exec level
- Ensure all project documentation and deliverables meet agreed quality standards
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex transformation projects
- Strong healthcare sector experience, NHS or private healthcare
- Background in technology enabled change and business transformation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at senior and executive level
- Experience managing third party suppliers and large project budgets
- Strong governance and reporting discipline
- Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or APMG preferred
