An IT firm is looking for an IT Engineer (Support) with current or very recent experience within the Educational sector (Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Academies, Universities or Colleges) to work in a hybrid model across Liverpool and Merseyside.
Contracted onsite support - minimum 3 days per week. Deliver contracted onsite IT support across the school client base as part of contracted service commitments. Primary contracted base is Liverpool City Centre (L1) with regular travel across Liverpool and Merseyside. Remaining two days per week spent on remote support, reactive client visits, and project delivery.
Skills Tech:
- Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in a senior IT support or systems engineer role within education.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve server failures independently - OS, hardware, RAID, and virtualisation.
- Strong Active Directory and Group Policy experience - real-world deployment and troubleshooting.
