Role: SEN Coordinator

Rate: £300 per day (Inside IR35)

Hybrid: 1-2 Days Onsite (North London)

Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced SEN professional with a strong background in statutory SEND processes within a local authority setting? We're supporting a London Borough in the search for an SEN Coordinator to join their team on a full-time interim basis, working on a hybrid model (1-2 days per week onsite in North London, remainder remote).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive service to enable the LA to meet its statutory responsibilities regarding the assessment and review of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Oversee the efficient implementation of statutory SEN procedures, ensuring appropriate placement and provision for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Liaise with schools, professionals, and other local authorities to coordinate placements for Enfield-resident pupils both within borough and out-of-borough (where Enfield retains responsibility).
  • Ensure statutory deadlines and processes are met with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Local Authority SEN Team.
  • Strong working knowledge of EHCP processes, SEND Code of Practice, and related statutory frameworks.
  • Confidence working across cross-borough placements, managing complex cases where the placing school is in another LA but statutory responsibility remains with the home borough.
  • Ability to manage workloads independently while contributing to wider team goals.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked on similar projects in other councils and is ready to hit the ground running in a busy and committed team.
