Salt Recruitment is working with a South West London Local Authority to recruit an experienced Interim IT Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead the delivery and support of critical IT infrastructure and operational services. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an experienced manager who can oversee technical teams, maintain service stability and drive continuous improvement across infrastructure, cloud and end user services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary IT Operations team covering infrastructure, networks, end user computing and telephony services.
- Ensure the availability, performance and security of critical IT services.
- Manage and support cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
- Oversee infrastructure technologies including Windows 11, firewalls, DNS, networking and Microsoft Teams telephony.
- Drive service improvements and implement operational best practice.
- Monitor service performance and ensure effective incident and problem management.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to support business objectives.
- Manage third party suppliers and service providers.
