I'm working with a forward-thinking technology solutions provider that supports multiple education sites across London. They're looking for an IT Engineer to join their team, delivering high-quality support across schools and helping improve learning through reliable and innovative IT services.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - SCHOOL / COLLEGE
  • MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS WITH BARRED LIST
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Providing 1st/2nd line IT support in an on-site or mobile role
  • Previous experience working in a SCHOOL or COLLEGE environment is essential
  • Working with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, account provisioning)
  • Supporting Windows Server (2016-2022), Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Troubleshooting Windows 10 devices and applications
  • Maintaining classroom AV equipment (e.g. projectors, smartboards)
  • Managing and supporting staff and student devices in an education setting
  • Communicating clearly and confidently with end-users
  • Escalating issues appropriately and following through to resolution
ESSENTIALS:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent time management and punctuality
  • Comfortable travelling between sites (London-based)
  • Experience working with local domains and Microsoft 365 environments
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to IT support and service delivery
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the team
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Previous IT support experience in the education sector
  • Familiarity with reimaging tools and asset management
  • Microsoft 365 or ITIL Foundation certifications

  • Location: London - On-site across education sites
  • Rate: £150/day
  • IR35: To be determined
  • Contract Length: 3-6 months (scope for extension)
