We've partnered with a fast-growing retail technology company as they expand their engineering team. They're currently hiring for an Integration Engineer with strong software development skills and hands-on experience using the Patchworks Integration Platform (iPaaS). This is a fully remote role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of system architecture, API development, and data transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust system integrations using Patchworks.
- Build workflows that connect systems like Shopify, 3PLs, ERPs, and WMS platforms.
- Develop custom scripts (JavaScript, Python, etc.) to handle data transformation and API communications.
- Monitor and optimise integrations, troubleshoot errors, and support system performance.
- Work closely with PMs and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented code with error handling and performance monitoring built in.
- Assist in agile development cycles and contribute to code reviews and deployment planning.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years in software/integration engineering roles.
- Proven experience with Patchworks iPaaS - configuration, development, and deployment.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Familiarity with eCommerce and retail ecosystems - including ERP, CRM, WMS.
- Version control experience with Git.
Location: Fully Remote UK
Salary: 45k - 55k* Rates depend on experience and client requirements
