We are currently recruiting for an experienced Information Governance Manager to join a large NHS organisation, leading the Trust's Information Governance function and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and NHS standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Information Governance professional to take ownership of the Information Governance framework, supporting senior leadership while driving improvements across data protection, information security and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Trust's Information Governance programme.
- Oversee compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and Freedom of Information legislation.
- Lead delivery and assurance of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
- Develop and maintain Information Governance policies, procedures and strategies.
- Provide expert advice on Information Governance, Information Security and confidentiality.
- Support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
