As General Manager, you will play a vital role as the face of our venue, actively engaging with the local community while driving excellence in all areas of operation. With a proven track record in the beer industry, you’ll bring enthusiasm, expertise and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
The role and responsibilities;

Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high management standards.

Serve as an enthusiastic advocate for our products, from cask ales to craft beers and pizzas.

Ensure smooth operation across all areas, including bar, floor, cellar, and kitchen, fostering best practices within the team.

Manage administrative tasks, including weekly reporting, cash management, and processing payments.

Oversee stock management, including ordering, stock takes, and waste minimization to maintain strong gross profits.

Lead, motivate, and develop the team, ensuring consistent performance and growth.

Take ownership of the venue’s setup and day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance with company policies, health and safety legislation, and security protocols.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager, who brings in-depth knowledge of our products – from real ale and craft beers, to cocktails and coffee’s., * A passion for the trade and a deep knowledge of cask and craft ales, with a commitment to serving the highest-quality pints.

A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a food and beverage environment.

Strong stock management skills with an understanding of GP maintenance and waste reduction.
