Are you a Director-level brand strategist who wants real ownership, not oversight?

A global agency needs a hands-on senior strategist to lead a major client account day-to-day.

You'll run strategic projects end-to-end, shape the work, and be the client's trusted advisor, not just deliver to a brief.

It's a long-term freelance role (12 months minimum) at £880 a day, mostly remote with 1-2 days a week in-house in Central/East London.

The role

You'll own the strategy on a global brand account. Writing the briefs, leading the teams, turning research into stories that land, and running the room when it matters.

Your day-to-day

  • Write creative and delivery briefs for teams across the UK and Lat Am
  • Lead strategic projects end to end as proxy product owner
  • Turn qual and quant research into personas, models and storytelling
  • Shape the brand experience across sub-brands, journeys and channels
  • Design and run workshops at executive level
  • Work across multiple markets, languages and regulations

You'll fit if you have

  • Director-level brand and comms strategy experience, agency side
  • A CPG or retail background (preferred)
  • A consulting mindset
  • The confidence to own senior client relationships
  • Happiness working in the tobacco/FMC category - this is the client's whole business, not a one-off

The details

  • £880 per day (maximum)
  • Start: Thursday 15th October
  • 12 months minimum
  • Inside IR35 - umbrella only (Ltd + Sole Trader are not allowed)
  • Hybrid, 1-2 days in-house, Central/East London
  • Full-time, 5 days
