We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high profile Freedom of Information (FOI) remediation and improvement programme within a large NHS organisation. This role will suit someone with a strong background delivering complex projects within the NHS or wider public sector, particularly across Information Governance, Digital Services or Corporate Services. You will be responsible for driving project delivery, engaging senior stakeholders and ensuring governance, risk and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the FOI remediation and improvement programme
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones and delivery schedules
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change control
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across Digital Services, Information Governance and Corporate Services
  • Produce project documentation, business cases and governance reports
  • Ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, budget and timescales
  • Coordinate suppliers and third-party relationships where required
  • Monitor project benefits and ensure successful transition into business as usual
  • Support governance boards with project reporting and recommendations
  • Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned throughout delivery

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering complex projects within the NHS or public sector
  • Strong Project Management background
  • Experience delivering Information Governance, FOI or Digital transformation projects
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or equivalent Project Management qualification
  • Strong stakeholder management
