You’ll be responsible for executing exceptional events and experiences across our diverse and dynamic portfolio, working closely with our Strategy and Creative teams.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of activations, working closely with a cross-functional project team to bring client campaigns to life—from initial concept through to seamless delivery. In collaboration with project managers, creatives, and strategists, you’ll lead the production and execution of each activation in alignment with the approved scope and objectives. From intimate, one-of-a-kind experiences to large-scale food festivals, you’ll contribute to a dynamic portfolio of work that elevates our marketing services with bold, innovative execution.
Your role will be instrumental in strengthening SALT’s reputation in the activations space. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying tapped into the latest event and cultural trends—ensuring our work is not only impactful but always ahead of the curve.
Job Specification:
- Produce and deliver immersive end-to-end activations for clients globally.
- Work collaboratively with the creative, project management, and strategy teams to develop creative and tailored proposals demonstrating a detailed understanding of the client’s objectives and budgets.
- Ensure all activations are being delivered at SALT’s and the client’s standard.
- Foster a collaborative and creative environment on project teams.
- Engage and respond to clients in a timely manner, monitor, track and report, demonstrating exceptional time management skills.
- Proactively lead on supplier meetings, arriving prepared to make informed decisions.
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders in the planning and delivery stages of each activation.
- Collate all relevant information for the invoice process and keep oversight of all income and expenditure.
- Produce and manage detailed pre-event briefing documents.
- Plan, organise and order all relevant event-related services.
- Strong finance/budget management, reporting and tracking across multiple projects.
- Negotiate, manage and maintain excellent professional relationships with suppliers.
- Build and retain strong relationships with clients throughout the planning and delivery process.
- Compile risk assessments and write event management plans as required.
- Produce accurate event P&Ls and post-event reports for internal purposes.
- Be present and onsite for all events you are responsible for.
- Support the wider team as required.
- Follow up with clients post-event and provide detailed debriefs.
- Regularly gather market intelligence including benchmarking and competitor analysis.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 4+ years of events and activation experience, ideally having worked with food and drink partners and suppliers.
- Experience working on client account management with an events focus.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- A strong financial grounding with experience in planning commercial events.
- An ability to think strategically and challenge the status quo.
- Confident public speaker, comfortable communicating with key decision makers.
- Ability to effectively network with existing and potential clients.
- Demonstrate ability to adopt new working practices.
- Intermediate understanding of culinary terms and cooking methods.
- Experienced and confident in liaising with clients and managing expectations.
- Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and story.
