Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Channel Management: Develop and execute social media strategies that strengthen brand presence, grow audience engagement, and support commercial objectives. Own and manage day‑to‑day activity across all key social platforms, ensuring content is aligned with wider brand direction and campaign priorities. Plan, schedule, publish, and optimise content across social channels, maintaining consistency in tone, visual identity, and messaging. Monitor platform performance, audience engagement, and emerging trends to inform content direction and channel growth strategies.
- Content Creation & Storytelling: Create engaging photo, video, and multimedia content tailored to different social platforms and audiences. Lead the development of short‑form, trend‑aware content designed to maximise reach, engagement, and brand relevance. Write compelling captions and social copy aligned with brand positioning and tone of voice. Edit and optimise visual, video, and audio content for digital and social‑first formats. Collaborate with wider creative and marketing teams to ensure social content aligns with campaigns, launches, and broader brand storytelling objectives.
- Performance & Analytics: Track and analyse social and content performance metrics, using insights to refine strategy and improve effectiveness. Deliver regular reporting on engagement, audience growth, traffic, and conversion performance. Monitor referral traffic and social‑driven e‑commerce activity to support commercial decision‑making. Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, conversion, and community growth through data‑led optimisation.
- Community & Brand Engagement: Build and nurture online communities through active engagement and audience interaction. Monitor conversations, comments, and audience sentiment to strengthen brand perception and responsiveness.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience managing social media and content for a premium consumer, fashion, retail, or lifestyle brand.
- Strong understanding of platform‑specific content strategies and social media best practices.
- Experience creating and editing engaging multimedia content, including short‑form video.
- Confident both behind and in front of the camera, with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling social copy.
- Strong understanding of analytics, engagement metrics, and performance reporting.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proactive, trend‑aware, and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of digital culture and audience behaviour.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across wider teams.
- Degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline preferred but not essential with relevant experience.
