Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced SAP Training Lead to support a major digital transformation programme delivering SAP S4HANA Public Cloud and SAP SuccessFactors. This role will take ownership of the training strategy across the programme and ensure the organisation is fully prepared for adoption ahead of go live. Go live is planned for October 2026 for S4HANA and February 2027 for SuccessFactors. You will work closely with programme teams, business leads and end users across the council to ensure training is structured, accessible and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the SAP training strategy across the programme
- Carry out training needs analysis across services and user groups
- Design role based training for finance, HR, payroll, procurement and wider council users
- Deliver a train the trainer model to scale learning across the organisation
- Work closely with programme teams and senior stakeholders to support adoption
- Coordinate training plans aligned to programme milestones and go live dates
- Ensure training materials and sessions are clear and accessible for a wide user community
- Support internal users as well as external groups who interact with the council
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience delivering training for SAP S4HANA and or SAP SuccessFactors
- Experience supporting large ERP implementations
- Proven ability to build and deliver training strategies
- Experience delivering train the trainer programmes
- Ability to translate system processes into practical learning
- Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working in large complex organisations
- Public sector experience would be beneficial
