Sales Operations Manager (Data & Insights) – 12-Month Contract
Location: London (Hybrid)
Day Rate: £300 – £370
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager (Data & Insights) to cover maternity leave and support the QuickBooks and Mailchimp sales teams across EMEA (in-house and outsourced). This role sits at the intersection of sales operations, data engineering, and analytics – ensuring our sales organisation is efficient, productive, and insight-driven.
You’ll work closely with sales leadership, analytics, marketing, finance, and customer success to optimise processes, deliver actionable insights, and explore new ways to drive performance through automation and AI.
Key Responsibilities

Streamline and optimise sales processes across EMEA to drive productivity and efficiency.

Own sales operations functions including pipeline management, incentive compensation, deal desk, lead management, and contact centre operations.

Use SQL and Python (Pandas, PySpark) to analyse data, automate workflows, and generate insights.

Design and manage ETL/ELT processes, data models, and reporting automation.

Leverage Databricks, Snowflake, and GCP to enable scalable reporting and analytics.

Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for new tools, automation, and AI-driven improvements.

Act as the bridge between Sales and cross-functional teams to align on strategy and execution.
What We’re Looking For
-
5+ years’ experience in Sales Ops or Rev Ops roles.

2+ years’ Salesforce experience (essential). Experience with Gong, Outreach, or Seismic is a plus.

Proven track record of launching or optimising sales tools/CRM systems.
-
Advanced Excel, Power BI, VBA skills.

Strong SQL knowledge; experience with Databricks/GitHub preferred.

Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau.

Strategic thinker with problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Self-starter comfortable managing both run-the-business and strategic transformation initiatives.

Curious and innovative, with an interest in AI and automation.
